Other public amenities include widepaved walking and biking paths, exercise course, exercise stairs, lighted basketball and volleyball courts, corporate plaza area, open grass area, picnic shelters, pavilions, warming kitchen, restrooms, and more.

The 56-acre Arroyo Grande Sports Complex boasts lots of sports facilities plus a playground, a disc golf course, and various trails. From this park, you can take the connecting Pittman Wash Trail for an extensive stroll, jog, or maybe a bike ride through Henderson.

Just a few minutes away, you can also enjoy the historic Whitney Mesa Park Recreation Area featuring the Whitney Mesa Nature Preserve. This park is home to many unique geologic formations, an active stream, and diverse flora and fauna. Park amenities include a 1-mile trail that’s partially ADA accessible, as well as interpretive centers, and educational kiosks. You’ll also find a play area, picnic shelters, barbecues, and restrooms.
