The Lakes is a upper scale 2-square-mile (5.2 km2) housing development located in western Las Vegas, Nevada. It is situated close to the Spring Mountains and Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. The highlight of the area, and its namesake, is a vast man-made lake, Lake Sahara.
