Anthem Coventry Real Estate

Don’t JUST buy the home … Buy the LIFESTYLE!

Like a jewel in the heart of the sprawling 4,500-acre master-planned Anthem community, the popular Coventry Homes at Anthem, in south-western Henderson, Nevada is a favorite residential destination of many. With homes ranging in size from 1,500 to 4,400 square feet to accommodate households of nearly any size, the community attracts an eclectic mix – from families and young couples to singles and retirees.

Coventry Homes is like a modern Anytown, USA, where neighbors know each other, interact on a regular basis, and care deeply for the community. Don’t be surprised to see kids with lemonade stands in the summer, and a neighborhood watch group patrolling at night.

In fact, the Coventry Neighborhood Watch boasts almost 1,000 active members, and hosts an annual Halloween Night “Safe Street” Event that attracts thousands of families for trick-or-treating. But that’s not all! The old-school village-like atmosphere of this area is enhanced by numerous supportive community groups, including a Mom’s Club and Babysitting Club, in addition to the expected Golf Club, Fitness Club and Poker Club. The Coventry Moms Club has close to 100 members, and hosts social events like holiday parties, play dates at the park, fire station tours and the annual Fall Fest.

The Coventry Homes at Anthem Homeowners Association also hosts a variety of events throughout the year for resident families. These are designed to bring neighbors closer together and increase the value of the community.

The events include “Outdoor Movies and Camp-Out in Harmony Park,” and the popular Winterfest Celebration, which attracts 500 to 600 Anthem Coventry residents. Santa Claus flies in by helicopter to Harmony Park for a visit and neighborhood foodies compete in the community Chili Cook-Off.

There’s also the Coventry Homes at Anthem “Spring Fling” festival, which is held at Easter time in Harmony Park. Hundreds of families come out to enjoy the Spring weather, the area’s largest Easter Egg Hunt with over 3,000 stuffed eggs, and a visit from the Easter Bunny. The festival also includes face painters, bounce houses, a rock-climbing wall, pony rides, a petting zoo, horse-drawn hayrides and a United Blood Services blood drive.

But it’s not just for the kids … you’ll also find adult-only events like the “Bike and Wine Walk” Fundraiser and the Summer “Beer Fest and Sing Along.”

Established in 1999 and developed through 2002, Anthem Coventry’s population of 3,000 lives peacefully in about 1200 private and strategically placed single-family homes.

The houses were built by Del Webb, the original developer of the master plan of Anthem communities, and other top home builders Richmond American Homes and DR Horton.

Sections of the community include Anthem Coventry by Del Webb, Anthem Coventry by Richmond American Homes, Estates at Anthem Coventry by DR Horton Homes and Heights at Anthem Coventry by DR Horton Homes.

Between the houses you’ll find meandering walking paths, plenty of green belts, the 10-acre neighborhood Harmony Park and the popular 53-acre Anthem Hills Park.

Anthem Hills Park features every amenity you could ask for, including lighted ball fields, soccer fields that host the City of Henderson Soccer Club games, skate park, roller hockey, basketball and volleyball courts; barbeques, picnic tables and covered picnic shelters; restrooms, playground, walking course and open grass area.

Harmony Park is a community park managed by the Homeowner’s Association, and forms the central focal point of Coventry Homes. Here you’ll witness kids playing, couples strolling hand-in-hand, and families cycling along the walking trails. While smaller than Anthem Hills Park, this well-loved neighborhood destination offers two basketball courts, soccer nets, frisbee golf and life-sized Jenga.

Nestled against the Black Mountains, near the McCullough Mountain foothills and Sloan Canyon National Conservation Area, Coventry offers the best of both worlds: nature on one side, and a world-class city on the other. Easy access to Sloan Trail and the Sloan Canyon National Conservation Area (NCA) is available through numerous direct access points in the neighborhood.

The Sloan Canyon recreational area is popular for hiking, and the Sloan Canyon Petroglyph Site is one of the most significant cultural resources in southern Nevada with more than 300 scenic rock art panels.

Just 20 minutes from the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, many of the custom homes in this community feature beautiful city views, as well as mountain views. The McCarran International Airport is also a mere 20 minutes from your door, providing easy access to worldwide travel.

If golf’s your thing, you’re just minutes from the Anthem Country Club and the Rio Secco Golf Club in Seven Hills, not to mention the Desert Willow Golf Course and the Dragonridge Country Club.

Anthem Estates & Anthem Heights are two sub-communities of the Anthem Coventry community. These are unique, all single-story communities right next door to each other, and were both developed by the same builder, DR Horton. These communities are nestled into the backdrop of the McCullough Hills Preservation area, which affords nature and walking trails that are easily accessible from the neighborhood. Homes in these neighborhoods offer majestic mountain views and some hillside lots.

Anthem Estates presents a neighborhood focused on practicality and quiet. Construction of homes in the community took place between 2002 and 2003, built primarily as a sub section of the larger Anthem Coventry community. Limiting the number of homes to around 150 helped preserve a consistent neighborhood character. Homes range from about 1,950 to 2,600 square feet and often include three or four bedrooms, multiple bathrooms, and attached garages.

Lot sizes are generous vs today’s new home standards, supporting manageable outdoor space. Quiet streets and a residential layout support daily life, near schools such as the Del Webb Middle School, and parks such as the Anthem Estate Park. The community also has access to the Anthem East Trailhead that leads to the Sloan Canyon Conservation Area. The Estates houses a unique combination of families, semi-retired and second home owners. The location affords an elevated lifestyle, a quality that is harder to find especially with the neighborhood remaining as a well maintained and sought after place to live. Many properties show updates that reflect continued ownership and reinvestment.

Anthem Heights follows a design approach that highlights larger homes and scenic surroundings of the McCullough Hills. The builders developed the area with less than 200 homes, creating a more exclusive feel. Homes are single-story and designed for single-families, ranging from about 2,300 to over 3,300 square feet and are well-known for wide open floorplans on larger parcels.

Lot sizes exceed those in Anthem Estates which allow for larger yards and open surroundings. Since the neighborhood sits right beside Anthem Estates, it has access to similar amenities such as the Del Webb Middle School and the Anthem East Trailhead. Homes in this area capture mountain views that strengthen its identity as a premium area. Residents experience quieter streets and a sense of space from surrounding areas.

It’s easy to see why so many people wish they could call this community home. You’re not only buying a house, but a lifestyle as well.
