We knew it was coming and at today’s topping out ceremony at the Raiders stadium construction site, Raiders president Marc Badain made the surprise announcement to the crowd outside the under-construction stadium that the new name would be Allegiant Stadium. This is huge for Allegiant and though the actual cost has not been made public at this time, it had to be a substantial sum. I hope Allegiant ticket prices don’t go up to cover it.
