One of my associates who had just returned from cruising around the Nevada backcountry, told me the Torino Ranch in Lovell Canyon WAS for sale. Update Jan 16, 2020: This property seems to be off the market at this time. This ranch has a long history. From 1933 to 1947 this was known as The Roberts Ranch. It was purchased during the depression by Charlie and Rachel Roberts. It was a working cattle ranch and a dude ranch. In 1983 Bill Morris turned this Lovell Canyon property into an R/V park which eventually fell into disrepair and bankruptcy.

The Torino Ranch was formed in 1994 and after much investment and work, has become a jewel of a property located on 42 acres located just south of Mt Charleston. The property description on Zillow states, “Surrounded by a Refuge of Beautiful Gardens, Lush Forests, Fruit Trees and Two Private Lakes, You Can Indulge in Nature’s Beauty. The Compound Features 155 Acre Ft of Deeded Water Rights, Elegant Owner’s Chalet, Amphitheater, Cabins, Cottages,Greenhouse, Lodge, Sky Garden, Firepit, and Pool. Only 45 Min from Las Vegas & 25 Min from Summerlin!”

I was not the listing agent. I am only writing about this property as a newsworthy blog post.
