Twitch is a livestreaming gaming platform. Twitch is a popular online service for watching and streaming digital video broadcasts. When it was founded in 2011, Twitch originally focused almost entirely on video games but has since expanded to include streams dedicated to artwork creation, music, talk shows, and the occasional TV series.

Today it was announced Twitch has a new sponsorship including a branded lounge in the lower level of the stadium. They will have their streaming technology in the lounge and it will be available to host special events. To Quote from an article I read today in the Las Vegas Review Journal, “We’re thrilled to announce our partnership with Twitch as the Official Streaming Platform of the Raiders and Allegiant Stadium,” said Raiders President Marc Badain in a statement. “The Twitch Lounge will elevate the spectator experience for Raiders fans in a brand new way — bridging the connection between fans in the stadium and at home unlike ever before.”

In addition to the new Raiders stadium being named after Allgiant Airlines, other founding sponsors include Credit One Bank, Cox Communications and Caesars Entertainment. I hear there will be 12 founding sponsors. I find it refreshing to have such a diverse sports venue.
